[Mixtape] Zona Man (@zonaman72) - No Advance

Zona Man (@zonaman72), born Terrance George, is elevating from the city of Chicago, where he was born and raised, with his new mix tape “No Advance.” Taking his first steps of existence in the Robert Taylor public housing projects then later relocating to East side of Chicago- where he currently resides. Zona Man is from humble beginnings, manipulating many paths & driving several lanes in life- Zona found himself in a web of unpleasant encounters. Being a young black man on the streets of Chicago is an unrelenting place and Zona found himself at a point of no return, until he was forced to turn his life around. In 2008 Zona Man was shot by a Chicago Police Department officer and falsely charged and tried. Subsequently the charges were dropped due to a lack of evidence. Zona utilized these accusations & time away as state property to recalculate how he’d maneuver his walk with life. In spite of the fact that he hadn’t continued on with a formal education, he still found ways to illuminate his mind & optimistically self motivate. Keeping the negative energy of the streets to the left, Zona was destined to take that right road life offered. He decided to conform to a more favorable life to ensure his longevity and protect his livelihood for his children & family. > > Zona Man always had a passion for music & poetics; merging the two- he tapped into his God given talent & musically began to destroy life’s demons. Zona took this second chance at life and forged full force ahead, focusing & channeling all energy into his music which he describes as “hustle/inspiration music”. He got back into the studio in 2013 and his hard work led him to working with top producers such as: Metro Boomin, Jazzy Pha, Young Chop, Southside 808 Mafia to name a few. In 2014 Zona Man was featured on the “Honest Tour” with rap super star Future– who discovered his music through Sound Cloud; he was also featured on Future’s new mixtape “Gangland” as well as the Bigga Rankin Coast to Coast tour. He is currently working on multiple projects including; his mixtape “No Advance” and “Kidnapping for Beats” where in his words he is “going Zona on some of the hottest industry beats out.” Writing to mock his wrongs, make an example out if it in song, ultimately putting his city- Chicago on his back. Making it a part of his load to carry, divide, & conquer. >

TnK (@iamthenewking_) aka "The New King" and music go hand and hand, he began writing at 8, recording at 12, and performing at 13. TnK dropped his first official mixtape locally in the city of Murfreesboro. The New Generation got him featured in the Nashville Scene articles, city newspapers, local events, and so on. TnK was known as King D during that time, but he felt that TnK was more in tune with his brand.
TnK has a creative style of putting rhymes together metaphorically in any shape, form, or fashion without using profanity and sets his own bridge to cross over. He’s teamed up with Tamra Simmons, Revitalized Marketing Group and DJ El Plaga (of TBR/Cool Running Djs and The Dope Academy) to debut his upcoming project as he plans to take over. Emerging Hip – Hop artist, V.A.I.N. did not miss a beat as he grew up with the intimate musical influences of his parents who were both members of bands back in the 80’s. V.A.I.N. recalls as a kid, his mother would make him perform Slick Rick songs at all family functions. After graduating high school in Queens, New York where V.A.I.N. was born and raised, he began working full time while continuing to aggressively pursue his music career. In 2004, V.A.I.N’s father passed away and due to the loss, he channeled and refocused his energy into his music and has since been aggressively pursuing his musical career. Who is Jey H (@therealjeyh): From neighborhood corner stores to billion dollar conglomerates, money rules the world, and at the core of every successful venture, regardless of how big or small, is the HUSTLER, an individual with an appetite for life’s finer things and the tenacity, intelligence and fire to make it happen. The music game was built on the backs of hustlers who took the wisdom and struggles of life, set it against music, and made the world take notice. A Washington, DC native, Jey H (born Jeffrey Harrison) grew up juggling two educations, one in the public school system, and the other on the unforgiving streets of northeast DC. The result is a chameleon who understands the codes and politics of both words and can thrive effortlessly in either. As a breakout athlete in both middle and high school, Jey could have pursued a career in sports, but having grown up watching the neighborhood players get it and flaunt it, he developed a strong entrepreneurial mindset and knack for making things happen. Playing on a team would never have been enough. In his own words “I want to own the team, the stadium and the network airing the game.” Never one to sit around, Jey got started on his dream of starting a business right after high school and never looked back.
